Mr. Brown was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2021. While building a general legal practice, Mr. Brown has primarily handled matters pertaining to business transactions and civil litigation, broadly covering topics such as oil and gas law, real estate, insurance subrogation, and creditors’ rights. Mr. Brown performed his undergraduate studies at The College of Wooster, where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta honors society and a recipient of the Arthur Holly Compton academic scholarship. He graduated cum laude from the Texas Tech University School of Law, where he was a senior writer and executive editor for the Texas Bank Lawyer, a serial publication of the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel. At Texas Tech, Mr. Brown was the recipient of several academic awards, including the George E. Gilkerson memorial scholarship, the Lubbock National Bank endowed fellowship, and the American Jurisprudence distinction. He clerked for McWhorter, Cobb and Johnson, LLP prior to joining the firm as an associate upon his admission to the State Bar of Texas.
