Kurt Brown

Mr. Brown is admitted to practice in Texas. He handles matters pertaining to business transactions and civil litigation, oil and gas, real estate, insurance subrogation, and creditors’ rights. He spent several years as a senior writer and executive editor for the Texas Bank Lawyer, a serial publication of the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel. Mr. Brown was the recipient of several academic awards, including the George E. Gilkerson memorial scholarship, the Lubbock National Bank endowed fellowship, and the American Jurisprudence distinction. He clerked for McWhorter, Cobb and Johnson, LLP prior to joining the firm.
