Brandon C. Callahan

Brandon C. Callahan is a 2018 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law. While in law school, Brandon served as Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Administrative Law Journal and worked as a law clerk for multiple reputable law firms in Lubbock, Texas, as well as the 237th Judicial District Court for Judge Les Hatch.

Since his admission to the Texas Bar in 2018, Brandon has successfully represented clients across a wide range of civil matters including employment law, commercial litigation, intellectual property, and regulatory defense. He is highly skilled in managing cases from intake all the way through trial, with extensive experience in motion practice, discovery, mediations, and the courtroom.

Litigation Experience:

  • Obtained $3,800,000 jury verdict in an oil and gas securities fraud case.
  • Successfully defended business against the Department of Labor for unpaid overtime violations by negotiating and obtaining favorable settlements for over 75 employees. Successfully defended employer against EEOC charge from former employee, resulting in voluntary dismissal of charge.
  • Obtained summary judgment in favor of defendant involving alleged multi-million dollar claims of fraud and breaches of a licensing agreement.
  • Obtained and negotiated a $500,000 settlement for a single employee whose employer violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Obtained dismissal by summary judgment in favor of commercial real estate developer that was sued for intentional and negligent nuisance.
  • Successfully defended a nationwide healthcare provider against claims asserted by a current employee’s ex-employer for breach of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, resulting in the voluntary dismissal of lawsuit.
